Broken Head House

Broken Head House

Four Pavilions around a central courtyard designed by Paul Witzig of Witzig/Schultz Architects. The house has living study, sleeping and guest wings as well as a separate Japanese bath house that looks down the valley. The central courtyard is covered except for a flowing pond. The house is also based on green principles with orientation toward the north, large eave overhangs, the use of energy efficient glass, compost toilets, solar hot water and a 5kw photo voltaic power system
